Good job Coolermaster. Not only is it quiet, easy to install, but it looks good too. Thanks to the use of "Barometric Ball Bearing" technology, Coolermaster also promises a massive lifespan so this should last you a while too.
The only con I can really give for this product, is that it doesn't move gallons of air, but it moves more than enough to keep things cool while reducing your overall noise levels.
Call us geeks, but we find fan technology as exciting as a new graphics card. We are always on the search for quieter systems without compromising on air flow. Cooler Master have just given millions of enthusiast users the chance to lower their system noise without sacrificing their cooling performance.
All in all the Turbine Master Mach 0.8 is an impressive case fan. I can see this fan being used throughout the market from HTPC's to multi fanned extreme case installs.
Prolonged use of the Spawn was comfortable and we could easily reach all of the buttons without straining our hand. On clicking the buttons on the Spawn we are rewarded with good feedback and a real feel that they are built to last.
Concerning comfort and durability the Spawn has all of these elements covered, firstly we have a combination of different materials used - anti-slip rubberized grip on both sides of the mouse so that you don't have any embarrassing encounters in-game. Secondly, the durability is covered by way of the Omron micro switches that CM Storm guarantee will deliver a minimum of 5 million clicks. Avid gamers should have no qualms about life-span that's for sure.
The Spawn is a fresh approach, it looks unique and ticks all the boxes that assert it as a dominating product. Congratulations to CM Storm for bringing another innovative and diverse product to the table.
Its great to have a mid-tower sized case with real water-cooling support. Some manufacturers use the loose term water cooling support but this is well and truly a water coolers dream for its size. It's not just the support for a decent thickness 240MM radiator in the roof but if you remove the bottom half of the hard drive cage you can fit another in the floor as well. This really does mean you can have a fully water cooled system in a mid-tower chassis, but to make it even better the white case really will show off your coolant and give you the excuse to paint your radiators to match!
As more and more white products are released from power supplies to water-blocks, cases like this can only become more and more desirable. With some clever planning you really can paint the inside of the case with light to completely change the look of the internals, making the 690 II practically a modders dream.
The Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W is a fantastic power supply which clears 80 Plus Gold certification. It earns massive brownie points for the extremely competitive pricing in the UK. Many stores are selling it for £190 inc vat, which is £40-£80 less than other 1200W+ units currently on the market. Sure, the ripple results aren’t up there with the best of the them, but in reality this makes very little difference to the end user.
Being only their second gaming mouse, CM Storm has once again brought to the gaming community an admirable gaming mouse. It delivers on every level, its looks, its build, its performance and its range of features.
It's been a while since CM Storm announced any new product on the market, this is possibly due to disruption outlined in the introduction, but what I can say is if they continue to develop products such as the Inferno we have looked at today they can rest assured they have a firm footing in the gaming community and a promising future.
